Clients receive a license to use their delivered images according to the terms of their photography agreement, gallery license, print release, or written permission provided by Aundrea Marie Photography.
A client may be allowed to download, print, share, and personally use delivered images, but that does not mean the client owns the copyright or has permission to sell, alter, license, publish commercially, submit, or transfer the images to third parties.
3No Copyright Transfer
No copyright, ownership interest, intellectual property rights, or exclusive rights are transferred unless a separate written copyright assignment is signed by Aundrea Marie Photography.
A general booking agreement, payment, invoice, email, gallery delivery, print release, or download permission does not transfer copyright.
Any copyright transfer must be clear, written, signed, and specific.
4Client Personal Use License
Clients who receive delivered images from Aundrea Marie Photography are generally granted a limited personal-use license, unless their contract says otherwise.
This personal-use license may allow clients to:

Clients are responsible for sharing gallery links carefully.
A private gallery link does not grant copyright ownership or unlimited use rights.
Images from private galleries may not be used by guests, vendors, venues, or third parties for business, advertising, publication, or promotional purposes without written permission.
16Print Release vs. Copyright Ownership
A print release allows a client to print delivered images for personal use.
A print release does not transfer copyright.
A print release does not allow:

- NFT creation

- transfer of rights
- claiming ownership

Business, branding, headshot, commercial, and event clients may receive usage rights according to their written agreement.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, commercial clients do not receive full copyright ownership.

Vendors from a wedding or elopement must request permission directly from Aundrea Marie Photography before using images for their own business or promotional purposes.
19Family, Portrait, Graduate, Boudoir, Birth, and Personal Session Use
Personal session clients may generally use delivered images for personal use, including printing, sharing, and personal display.
Images may not be used for business branding, advertising, publication, contests, commercial promotion, paid content, or third-party marketing unless written permission is granted.
Boudoir, birth, and other sensitive/private images will not be used publicly by Aundrea Marie Photography unless permission is granted according to the client agreement or written consent.
20Client Privacy and Photographer Portfolio Use
Aundrea Marie Photography may use images for portfolio, website, blog, social media, advertising, publication, competition, education, and promotional purposes unless restricted by the client agreement or separate written privacy agreement.
Some sessions or events may involve sensitive, private, or personal circumstances. When privacy limits are agreed to in writing, those limits will control how images are used.
Clients who need privacy restrictions should discuss those needs before booking or before images are used publicly.
21Image Credit Requirements
When image use is approved, credit must be given unless otherwise agreed in writing.

- a business was involved in the session

- the image does not have a visible watermark
- the image was shared by someone else
- credit was given

- the use is “just for inspiration”
Written permission is required unless the use is already clearly allowed by a client agreement, gallery license, print release, or written policy.
